ABOUT RESCUE OUR FURRY FRIENDS.

The Rescue Our Furry Friends organization was established in 2004 by Diane Adair and Cindy McClellan.  ROFF has placed over 350 dogs and over 250 cats thus far.
ROFF does not have a facility and therefore relies on the generosity and kindness of our local families whom are willing to foster dogs and cats until their forever homes are found.  As of June 2008, our organization was granted a non-profit status.  All donations to ROFF are now tax deductible..

All dogs are vaccinated for rabies, distemper and kennel cough.  They are de-wormed and started on Vectra.  If the dogs are over 6 months of age, they are spayed and neutered before they can be adopted.  We begin the dogs on housebreaking and crate training as soon as they enter the rescue.  They are de-wormed and started on Vectra.  If the dogs are over 6 months of age, they are spayed and neutered before they can be adopted.  We begin the dogs on housebreaking and crate training as soon as they enter the rescue.

All cats are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS.  They are also de-wormed and started on Vectra.  If the cats are over 6 months of age, they are spayed and neutered before they can be adopted.  We begin litter training as soon as they enter the rescue.

Rescue Our Furry Friends requires an application to be completed if anyone is interested in one of our animals.  The adoption fee is $200 for dogs and $40 for cats.  There is an adoption contract that needs to be signed prior to any adoption.  The animals we adopt out must be kept as inside animals.

If for any reason the animal does not work out, it must be returned to Rescue Our Furry Friends.

FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED.

Rescue Our Furry Friends is always in need of animal lovers who are willing to open their homes to help foster our homeless dogs and cats.  ROFF does not have a facility and therefore relies on the generosity and kindness of our local families whom are willing to foster dogs and cats until their forever homes are found.  The more foster homes we have the more animals we can help save.

If you are interested in becoming a Rescue Our Furry Friends Foster Parent please contact us by phone at 1-877-933-ROFF or by email rescueourfurryfriends@yahoo.com.

DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
